Next extent size for detached indexes

Hi All, I'd like to automate monitoring available space in dbspaces in relation to "next size" of (fragments of) tables and/or detached/fragmented indexes residing in those dbspaces. Tables are fine, but how can I determine the next sizes for indexes, apart from running oncheck -pt ?
