Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Any help is appreciated.
We are running 730UC5 on SOL26 and (on another machine) 730UC2 / SOL251.
Both have the same databases running (more or less) and the same
requests (via java);
The UC2 is quite happy with 9megs (and uses only half of it - running
for weeks);
the UC5 starts to eat up memory after only some minutes of activity; up
to several hundreds of MB.
Both are now configured identically; no change at all.
SHMTOTAL doesn't seem to work - allowing a certain amount of memory with
lead to strange behaviour of the server; actually not replying any more.
I hope someone has a solution...
Please answer via email as well...
Bye & thanks
Frank

Try onstat -g mem then
onstat -g ses <sessionid> for the sessions with the most memory. The find out what sql it is running an and use set explain on find
find out it is doing (hash join eat memory).
