backing up more then one instance

Our environment is HP/UX 10.20 running Informix 7.23. We have two DB instances. I want to do a non-interactive backup of both instances but when using 'ontape' with only one tape drive this is not possible. Can anyone tell me how I can accomplish a non-interactive backup of the two db instances to one tape? Additionally, how would a restore be done? Chuck Wrobel Bellevue School District
