Any chance that this library has been corrupted? Check the date and see if it makes sense (it shouldn't be newer than your installation date). If you have another RS/6000 handle with AIX 3.2.5 you could also do a checksum on /usr/lib/libtli.a and compare. Also, maybe the Informix port was created with a newer version of AIX? I don't know what the latest is. Maybe your version of this library is out-of-date. (Back when I used AIX in its early days, it was common to have to upgrade AIX at the same time I upgraded Informix.) Just guessing though ... -- Jeffrey Sturm jsturm@mail.msen.com
