livewire dbadmin error : trace is active, cannot stop dbadmin

when trying to run dbadmin from within netscape by using the appmgr, netyscape keeps waiting for a reply, which never comes. When debugging dbadmin, I only get one line in the debug-frame : 'Waiting for first request'. When trying to stop or restart dbadmin, I the the javascript alert : Unable to stop application: Error:Trace is active, cannot stop application /dbadmin. what does it mean ? I searched for any trace processes, but there seems to be no such thing. any help would be much appreciated, jeroen jeroen@hypervision.be
