Re: Database administration tool for Informix?

If you've got X, informix supplies onperf and oncockpit for many platforms. These allow you to at least monitor the engine. For other tasks, go the informix web site, in the software store, and there's a free download for Win95/NT called "ROM." That's the <R>elational <O>bject <M>anager. You can use this to run SQL queries, examine tables, etc. In OnLine 7.3 (forthcoming major upgrade, of the same magnitude of 6.x to 7.x), there will be a full GUI administration tool that will encompass much of the functionality of the on-utils. I think it will be called "Informix Enterprise Command Center."
