Not likely. The DRDA drivers are better (faster) working with .NET than the native SQLI interface is, but in general, the SQLI interface is more flexible and more capable, so it's not going anywhere. DRDA was installed mainly to help convince IBM's tools and product groups to that they could support IDS in addition to DB2 with minimal effort. Art Art S.
