problems with win XP and informix Client

I'm unable to install the windows client in a XP. I use Informix Dynamic Server 7.21, and the client is version 7.20. I use and Xp user with administrator privileges, and make the same installation procedure that works in Win98. (with file services, setnet32, etc.etc) But when I try Ilogin demo, using my informix database, I have and error: Memory fault allocation (I think to remember informix error number 601) Why?

It works on mine just fine. Michael
