HOME and END Keys

Does anyone know how to trap the Home and End keys like those defined in I-4GL for nextpage, prevpage, right, left, etc... We have users who accidentally or inadvertently presses the Home and End keys and because the Home and End keys maps to a key sequence like <Esc>[1~, the <Esc> takes them out of say an input mode. (We happen to also use the <Esc> key to cancel out of whatever.) Any insights, help, etc appreciated. Patrick pkh@vuh002.telecom.com.au
