Hi, when loading thrue external table ou thrue load into command, is there a way to tell the interval for commits, for example each 1000 rows we launch a commit, this in order to avoird long transaction
No, unfortunately there is no option to do this. Is it possible for you to change the table that you are loading to raw? -----Original Message----- From: ids-bounces@iiug.org [mailto:ids-bounces@iiug.org] On Behalf Of CHALLENGER212 ABDERRAFI Sent: Thursday, June 23, 2016 7:59 PM To: ids@iiug.org Subject: Load by External table commit interval [37312] Hi, when loading thrue external table ou thrue load into command, is there a way to tell the interval for commits, for example each 1000 rows we launch a commit, this in order to avoird long transaction **************************************************************************** *** Forum Note: Use "Reply" to post a response in the discussion forum.
No, I have an RSS server, if I turn the table to raw, unfortunately the load does not replicate to the secondary server unless is there a way to replicate this load with an other mechanism.
Break the data file(s) that you are trying to load into smaller files, e.g. using "split" if you are on unix. -----Original Message----- From: ids-bounces@iiug.org [mailto:ids-bounces@iiug.org] On Behalf Of CHALLENGER212 ABDERRAFI Sent: Friday, June 24, 2016 1:51 AM To: ids@iiug.org Subject: Re: RE: Load by External table commit interval [37314] No, I have an RSS server, if I turn the table to raw, unfortunately the load does not replicate to the secondary server unless is there a way to replicate this load with an other mechanism. **************************************************************************** *** Forum Note: Use "Reply" to post a response in the discussion forum.
