oninit looping

I have seen a few messages regarding oninit taking up lots of cpu and doing very little i/o. I am on an HP-UX10.20 running Online 7.23.UC4. I have been seeing the same situation but cannot find the culprit. However at the same time online is dynamically adding shared memory segments until I run out of memory. I called tech support and they have told me that 7.23 is on a quality hold and not shipping any more. Does anyone know about this? It would be nice to be able to track the offending process to a sesion id for trouble shooting purposes. Any help would be appreciated. Paul J.
