Hi everyone. In the release notes for IDS 10FC9 and IDS 11.5 (for AIX) there is mention of the "recommended" version of Tivoli as in... "Recommended versions of other IBM products that work with IDS, but are distributed separately: Tivoli Storage Manager 5.4 and Tivoli Storage Manager Client 5.2.1 and later" Would anyone know how to determine what the REQUIRED version is? I guess just call Informix Tech Support? I was just wondering if anyone knows of any documentation that shows the REQUIRED versions of software. It sure would be nice if the manuals had both the "recommended" versions (and WHY they are recommended) along with the minimum required versions..... Oh well, thanks.
Hello Will, Please take a look at the following TSM - IDS Chart ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/software/data/informix/ids/ids-tivoli-storage-manager -interop-chart.pdf Page 7 of the chart provides the information over the TSM API's recommended for the given version of IDS Thanks, Prasanna Alur Mathada Informix -Interoperability India Software Lab, IBM Software Group ------------------------------------------- Ph : Extn : 91-80-417-74243 "WILL LANDSTROM" <willlandstrom@yahoo.com> Sent by: ids-bounces@iiug.org 04/03/2009 03:16 Please respond to ids@iiug.org To ids@iiug.org cc Subject Tivoli with IDS 10FC9 and IDS 11.5 on aix [15040] Hi everyone.
