On HPUX errno 51 (Informix's libraries translate most ERRNO values to negative) is ENODATA (see /usr/include/sys/errno.h) which usually means an asynchronous IO has either returned no data or the data is not ready yet. Karl, Haven't seen exactly that one before but check out the SDE Server settings like:- MAXBLOBSIZE BLOBMEM MAXARRAYSIZE MAXARRAYBYTES Stuart McCann -----Original Message----- From: ids-bounces@iiug.org [mailto:ids-bounces@iiug.org] On Behalf Of KARL OLIVER Sent: Wednesday, 15 June 2011 6:54 AM To: ids@iiug.org Subject: spatial database error [24039] hello Hoping someone can help with the meaning of this error below IBM Informix Dynamic Server Version 9.40.HC5 ArcSDE 9.2 Service Pack 5 HP-UX wdcuast5 B.11.11 U Tue Jun 14 17:01:21 2011] [2209] [WDCWAST203] db_array_fetch_attrs Fetch Error (-51)[Tue Jun 14 17:01:21 2011] [2209] [WDCWAST203] SDE_ODBC_STREAM Error: -51 [Informix][Informix ODBCDriver][Informix]User Defined Routine error.[U0000]Spatial reference conflict, 1 vs 2. Hi Karl,
error -51 is SDE error see $SDEHOME/include/sdeerr.h
#define SE_DB_IO_ERROR (-51) /* DATABASE LEVEL I/O ERROR
OCCURRED */
Problem is in using reference (may be)
2. No implicit coordinate transformations
-----------------------------------------
All functions with two ST_Geometry operands will raise error USE23
(spatial reference conflict) if the SRIDs of the operands are not
the same. If you want to compare two geometries with different SRIDs
you can explicitly transform one, as in:
SELECT * FROM tab1 a, tab2 b WHERE
ST_Intersects(a.shape, ST_Transform(b.shape, ST_SRID(a.shape)));
