Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Hi,
We have informix 7.22.UC1 database engine with runtime 6.05.UC1. I took all
the 4GLs from this environment and compiled it under informix 7.30.UC5 with
runtime 7.20.UD4 and created the binaries. I copied the binaries back onto
7.22.UC1 and 6.05.UC1 and got the DBCENTURY working the way I want.
I have tested a lot of features and I did not have any issues at all. Can
anyone tell me what is offside of this approach. Will this really work in
Year 2000. (I am not planning to add any feature of 7.20.UD4 into my
programs).
Appreciate any early response.
-Kris
