Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Hi All,
I use Sql Editor and CLI to access an IUS server on Unix from a NT
work station. I found that I couldn't retrieve data from a field defined
as Geopolygon, which is created using Informix GeoBlade. I understand
that this problem is resulted from the fact that Geopolygon is a data
type not supported by CLI. My question is whether there's a way to get
around, or, how to deal with user defined data types when CLI is used to
connect to the database. Is there any convertion function available?
Thanks.
