I worked at a company one time where they made the programming standard screen display the time *that the program started*. It wasn't even labeled, as such but just stayed in the corner of the screen, wrong and getting more wrong with each passing minute. My team started down the road to displaying the current time in 4GL, but decided it was not worth the effort. So we changed the "local standard" instead, and deleted the "time" from the screen. A learning experience in several fields. ______________________________________________________ Clem Akins (aka clema@informix.com) Informix Software, Inc (Standard disclaimers apply) International Technical Support Last seen: Scaling Singapore's tallest mountain (164m)
