Clearly, *I'm* on drugs, because now I'm seeing double... :-/ Anyway, 4Js is a company founded by (I think) 3 Frenchmen and a German, all of whom had the initial J in their name or surname. Hence the name. Their relationship to Informix is that they developed a 4GL-compatible compiler with some extensions, which Informix bought/leased, further enhanced and now sell as Dynamic 4GL. Is that the direction you wanted? HTH. I take back what I just said to David. Is that the direction you wanted? Informix did not enhance the product. They just have an OEM agreement with 4Js, but no access to the source code. The only change between Informix and 4Js versions is the name. With Informix you get the name and with 4Js you get the service!
