checkpoints

Hi, i am working with IDS9.30UC2 on solaris 8. I have to optimize checkpoints duration. What is the writing sequence during a checkpoint ? Does Informix write on disks sorted by chunk number or sorted by dbspace and chunk number ? i have to know that because i would like to parallelize cleaners writing on physical disks. thanks
