I defy ANYONE to write any application (using >ANY PRODUCT) that won't have a bug in it. If YOU can't write bug-free >code, why in heaven's name would you EVER expect anyone else to do it??? Bravo!! I agree with Corinne. Did any of you suddenly wake up on the wrong side of the bed one morning and suddenly come to this realization? I'm sure we've all had our horror stories(some worse than others), but in this wonderful business it's to be expected. I've had my share and I can tell you I understand where you're coming from. As to the comment made about having to use other tools to come up with solutions, this is just another fact that any product is not going to be all things to all people. Don't get me wrong..I'd love for Informix to fix the nasties, and make some of their tools a more friendly and so on, but all anyone can do is hope the Informix gurus who contribute to this forum will take notice and something good will come out of all the 'slinging around.
