Field Definition/Population Report Utilities

Is there any knowledge out there regarding products I could use to produce field definition/field population reports from various database systems? I would be interested in a Windows package which I could use to analyse the content of databases used by various businesses and based on any of the major desktop and client-server DBMSs. I'd be after a list of all the fields, the values held in those fields and the population for each value. I don't really want to use something which requires messing about too much with file format changes or programming - but if that is all there is available then I should still like to know about it. I don't wish to use a product that only analyses a particular DBMS. Any help on this would be much appreciated. -- Chris Pegler
