Move phisical log

Greetings again I want to move the physical log of a IDS from rootdbs to a new dbs Can I do it in online mode or Do i Have to quisce or down ? Does the users are affect during the change ? Thanks for your help
You can do this online using the onprarms utility, no problem. Consider
creating a new Physical Log type dbspace (onspaces -c -p ... ) for this if
you are using v12.10+. The Physical Log type dbspace is auto extending by
default and can only be used for the physical log. A physical log placed in
a Physical Log type dbspace is also auto expanding if the server determines
that the physical log is not big enough.

As a best practice you should move the physical log from rootdbs to a
dedicated dbspace
onparams -p -s size -d dbspace -y
This must be done in quiescent or administration mode
