High Performance Loader

In testing the High Performance Loader with version 7.21 of Informix we discovered that you could not load a table if the table name was longer than 9 characters. We contacted Informix Tech Support and found that this was a known problem and would be fixed in version 7.23 which should be generally available within the next 2 or 3 weeks. We discovered a work around. Create a synonym for the tables with long names. Then load to the synonym instead of the real table name. Once the fix is in place for the HPL we will drop the synonym.
