Rollback

Solaris 9 IDS 9.40.FC8 A developer ran an updare on a table with 152M rows as follows: begin work; lock table in exclusive mode; update <table> set <col> = 0 where <col> is null; The update would have updated 122M of the 152M. I have LTXHWM set to 45 to prevent excessive transactions such as this, it hit this threshold and aborted - long transaction as expected after about 90 minutes. However, the rollback is taking an extremely long time, i.e. 3 hours to process approximately less than half of the updated records. Is this what is expected.
