HACMP issues while failing over

IDS11.50.FC9 AIX6.1 During fail over and at each reboot of the OS, Informix resolved to the= wrong IP address if we have one IP address in the same range on each interface. To correct, =A0we moved one of the IP addresses to the other interface = so both IP are on the same interface. Can someone explain me this phenomen= on? Are there any requirements if using two interfaces with Informix? See this with OS reboot and Fail over scenario (HACMP).=
