I have a screen in which >there is one field that can only have values in an enumerated set. Is this possible with forms? If not can it be simulated using >multiple screens? It depends what you mean by "using forms". There are three interpretations I can think of, with different answers. 1. Informix-SQL. No, you can't. 2. Informix-4GL. Yes, you can. You open a window, populate an array, use DISPLAY ARRAY to allow the user to choose, and use the chosen value. 3. Informix-4GL Forms. Yes, you can. There are a variety of ways of doing it, but they map into the code mentioned for I4GL. Yours, Jonathan Leffler (johnl@obelix.informix.com) #include <disclaimer.h>
