Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Hi Family,
I was monitoring a very active user (holding ~1500 locks) and ran
onstat -g ses <sessionid>. At the bottom of the output is a list of thesession's temp tables. The following caught my eye:
User-created Temp tables :
partnum tabname rowsize
500002 temp_ean_store 122
500002 temp_ean_store 122
500002 temp_ean_store 84
4000a0 temp_ean_store 122
Now I can understand the first and last of these entries. We have
multiple temp dbspaces so the emp table got fragmented (round robin)
across the two dbspaces. This explains two values for partnum. But the
second one looks identical to the first - same partition number and row
size. Could this be simply another extent being treated like a
separate table? Sounds really unlikely!
Then there is the matter of the third temp table. Same partnum,
different row size. . ???????????????????
Can someone tell me what's going on here?
Thanks.
