Re: USER in ace reports

A possible solution to this problem is to use a two stage report. In stage 1 do the selects and PIPE the results to a unix script which in turn will send them to a file with a name generated fron the USER login id. Then for the second stage write the report to use the file as input rather than the SELECT statement. It may be unnecessary to have a file named from the user login id as the outpur fro stage 1 would be put to that user's current directory.
