If you are using Version 7.10.UD1 or greater, parameters such as MAX # Of Userthreads are no longer necessary because OnLine will dynamically allocate the required resources. Check your $INFORMIXDIR/release directory and you will probably find release notes that will tell you which parameters have been removed from ONMONITOR --- (Informix must have left them in the onconfig.std file even though they are not used any more) J.
