CLI-Error: Internal communications ... (-25567)

Hi, After installing Informix-CLI Ver. 2.5 and creating the ODBC-Source I alway get the message: 'Internal communications buffer management error detected'. I have checked services (on client machine), server name, protocol type, hostname...etc. It was tested with NT 3.51, NT 4.0 and W95 and always the same error. The crazy thing is: On the host (AT&T S40 with System V) we are using the protocol type 'seipcpip'. If I set the protocol type to 'sesoctcp' (which is the wrong one!) I can see in the Network monitor that data packets are going out and there is a connection with the host (surely not a succesful one). But with the RIGHT protocol type 'seipcpip' - no data packet is leaving the client machine !! Many thanks for your help. Norbert Poblotzki NorbertP@csi.com
