Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
Yeah great....
1. You don't need where 1=1.
2. What about transactions updating multiple tables and RI?
3. What about locking the rows and causing the application to fail?
First you need to lock the database in share mode
Then unload each table.
If you have the space somewhere then cd into an empty directory
and run
dbexport <database>
This will take an exclusive lock on the database whilst it runs.
Incase your concern is TIME; u can go for a High Performance Loader
(HPL); This will help the loading/unloading functionality to be done in
a very quick time:
Syntax for unloading:
onpladm create job <jobName> -D <DBName> -t <tableName> -d
<UNLFileName> -fu
onpladm run job <jobName> -fu
onpladm delete job <jobName> -fu -R
