IDS 11.50.fc6 ISQL 7.50.fc5 CSDK 3.50 ESQL/C 3.50.fc6 OAT 2.73 on Windows 7 HP-UX 11iv3 (PA-RISC) I am using OAT to look at the SQL trace information. The vast majority of the statements are SELECTs -- no surprise there. I then click on the SELECT to get a listing of the specific SELECT statements. Over 90% of these show "Compiled Statement" in the SQL Statement column. If I click on that row to get to the SQL List, and click on one of the specific SQLIDs, I can see the graphical Query Tree, Statistics, and high-level Query Info, but I can't see the actual SQL statement. So, what are all these Compiled Statements? We're running some ESQL/C, a lot of Ace and Perform. Is there any way to get OAT to show the actual statements?
When the SQL trace indicates that the statement is compiled it is an SQL statement that comes from a stored procedure. You can turn on tracing the stored procedure stack trace which will provide the stored procedure function names. John F. I just checked, and I already had Table Names, Database Names, Procedure Stacks, and Host Variables boxes checked in OAT. >> When the SQL trace indicates that the statement is compiled it is >> an SQL statement that comes from a stored procedure. You can turn >> on tracing the stored procedure stack trace which will provide the >> stored procedure function names.
