Reply to SELECT too slow

Hi: 1:you should provide your sql statement in details,which maybe a simple select , a join,or subquery ,etc. In different case they will result in different performance. Also you should provide your table schema,index,and sqexplain. 2.I think three fector will affct your performance. 1)memory bottleneck Is your memory sufficient? Did you check your i/o cacheed rate?(onstat -p) read cached rate should >95% write cached rate should >85% 2)i/o bottleneck Are you on online 7.x OR 5.x?
