Q: (corr) transactions with C-ISAM
Posted in 1996
-> sent again, but corrected I checked out the transaction processing with C-ISAM 5.00.UD1 on SCO UNIX 3.2. and have seen the following: f.ex. user A is starting a transaction, deleting record #1 and waiting for input to commit or roll-back. In the meantime, user B has written record #1 new (because there is no-lock on the record nor it is existing) and committed. Now user A fails to roll-back because there is record #1 new written from user B. If you know any workaround please let me know!
