Cannot find sysadmin:ifx_setupdwa function
Hi everybody,
I am running a 12.10.FC8AWE Informix Server on a Centos 64 bit VMWare virtual
machine.The accelerator server is 12.10.FC8WE.
I've succesfully run ondwa setup, ondwa start, ondwa status ondwa getpin.
When I try to run ifx_setupdwa function:
dbaccess -e sysadmin<<EOFexecute function ifx_setupdwa('My_accel','127.0.0.1','21022','0789');EOF
the 674: Routine (ifx_setupdwa) cannot be resolved error occurs.
If seems as if this function does not exists is sysadmin database.
A dbschema -d sysadmin -f ifx_setupdwa corroborates it.
How can I create this function?

Hi,
the stored procedures for the
adminsitration of accelerators
and data marts are implemented
as UDRs.
I think you need to have the dbscheduler
running in the Informix server, so that
these UDRs can be properly
auto-registered upon their first use.
If you de-activated the dbscheduler,
then please activate it.

Many thanks Martin for your response, The scheduler is running, I have the same problem. Is there any script to manually register those udrs?
The solution is running the udr from within a user database, never use sysadmin database.
