I'm trying to install IDS 9.40 on limited LINUX Kernel 2.4.22 for an
embedded system without rpm and other install tools.
I copy the files from another server using tar, but something is not
working. Can someone help me?

Jairo,
Most Linux flavor's, except Suse and RedHat, come with GLIBC
which is not compatible with IDS 9.40 and 10.0.
The best option is to replace GLIBC with one from RedHat.
