Using ole component with Newera 3.1

I am trying to use the the Microsoft Common Dialogue ole component and am having problems using the showOpen method. The problem lies with the callMethod function, which can only be my use of it. Could someone please inform me by way of providing an example? Many thanks in advance, Peter Neville.
