Dear Art; I am using the 2nd server for DR purpose, only when the production server crashed. Then all I need is to fire this standby server up and restore backup tape. I assume there are professionals out there can help replicating the server for a fee. Thanks Bill On May 13, 4:23 pm, Art Kagel <art.ka...@gmail.com> wrote: > SE is simple software. Got you. Advanced DataTools certainly can help if you want professional help. Properly archiving SE so you have a consistent archive to restore is a bit more involved than doing so for Online or IDS, but it's certainly doable Art Art S. my 0.02 Euro.. if you want to spent money then invest it in IDS and HDR you may have to change the 4gl program a bit but in the end you'll have a hot standby which is much more then SE can offer ever.
