]We are running Informix-4GL version 4.00.UH1 on Ultrix, and we have a ]problem. .4ge files end up with permissions "rwx------", and we want ]to give execute permission to everyone. Any ideas on how to do this ]automatically with just the I-4GL package (I already use a shellscript ]that runs "i4gl", then "chmod +x *.4ge", but I want something more ]reliable)? I haven't been able to find any file mask specific to ]Informix. Charles, Check your umask. I'll bet it's set to something like 077. You should have it set to 022 or 002.
