IDS 9.4 and Veritas Netbackup
Folks, Anyone know the status of IDS 9.4 and Veritas Netbackup? We have a site that uses 9.3 and Veritas Netbackup and they say they cannot upgrade to 9.4 because Veritas does not support 9.4. I checked the Veritas website and in their compatibility guide the only list support 9.3. I check into this about 8 weeks ago and the word from Veritas was that it was in the works. They however gave no time frame. It would not hurt to call Veritas Support and check...they told me it take them about 2 - 3 Months to review everything after a new release of Informix. While Veritas doesn't officially support IDS 9.40, NetBackup does work against that engine.
