World Vision, a Christian relief organization located in Federal Way, Washington, has an immediate opening for a senior level Informix DBA. Required qualifications include a thorough knowledge of Informix products, strong communications skills, and an outstanding knowledge of UNIX and NT. The successful applicant will fill one of two roles, either as an RDBMS designer, or as an administrator of the production Informix databases. The candidate must be experienced with both fairly small, OLTP type environments, and medium sized (20GB) data warehousing systems. Other qualifications include general UNIX system knowledge, with C, ESQL/C, sed, and awk. Preference will be given to Informix Certified Professionals.
