It worked fine for me. Two notes: 1) Older versions of mosaic don't support the "forms" features of html which are used in the Survey. This may be the reason that some people got errors trying to call up the survey. The current version of NCSA mosaic is 2.4, I think. It would be good for the home page to mention that the survey page uses features that older programs may not have. 2) I get IP # 192.216.240.4 for www.informix.com; the traceroute output that Clay Irving posted said "traceroute to www.informix.com (158.58.8.200)", which suggests that he was getting the wrong IP # because of some sort of name server failure. The WWW server has the potential to be a terrific improvement to service, especially if they make the bug database accessible. Good Luck to them! -- Harry Bochner bochner@das.harvard.edu
