Hi,
I am trying to restore a 7.21 IDS DB on a DS10 box.
The problem is that the database was first running on a DS20 dual-processor
machine. Now I would like to restore the DB from a backup to the DS10
uniprocessor machine. While the restore begans (ontape -r) the machine stalls.
If I am trying to restore another DB which was runing and initiated with
single cpu parameters then it is OK.
How can I perform full restore (not dbexport/dbimport) ?

Are you using the same config file that was used for the
backup, including
the Multiprocessor parameters? if you are I'd change them.
