I want to do this as well, with v7.13 on Solaris. My best solution so
far is to use ontape for the larger instance, and onarchive to disk for
the smaller. I already append Solaris ufsdumps to a single ontape
archive without problems.
I'm going to try Art's suggestion. What utility is suggested to copy
the second ontape archive onto disk or another tape? dd?
