Form Letters

Has anyone done an application which is required to generate form letters? In my case, most of the text is boilerplate with a rare embedded field. I would prefer not to rig an interface to a word processor unless there is no other choice. Printing straight text from a table of boilerplate is no problem but I'm curious if anyone has developed a technique for adjusting the line when inserting a variable into a line. -- Jim Nielsen Motorola Inc., Commercial Systems Division jmn@pdx.csd.mot.com . . . tektronix!reed!cvedc!mcspdx!jmn Voice: (503) 643-6247 . . . . uunet!apple!motcsd!mcspdx!jmn
