I-Net bug?

I understand that there is a bug, "feature", with I-Net where it in not case sensitive. In other words, when a client sends a query from a front end tool, like Powerbuilder, I-Net ignores upper and lower case text strings and makes them all uniform (upper or lower case). Does anyone out there know when Informix is expected to fix this problem?
