We have the same questions for our Informix sales rep. Here are some answers: For Informix OnLine DSA (user-based), the number of users are defined as the max number of front-end connections at any one instance in time, so a user operating in multiple windows on a workstation under the same login is counted as ONE user For release 4.x and 5.x, a user is defined as the unique combination of one login on one display device with no more than five processes running, so a user logged in on multiple terminals will be counted as multiple users.
