Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Hi,
4 separate stored procedures, when creating or executing caused
online 7.23.UC7 to crash. I noticed a common thread in the 4 stored
procedures [also none of my other stored procs cause crashes when
creating or executing] and that is that all 4 use square brackets
somewhere.
e.g. if userid is a char(8)
select * from foo where foo.userid[1,4] = "XXXX"
Further, having replaced the square brackets with the alternative
syntax:
where foo.userid like "XXXX%"
I have not experienced crashes so far.
Anyone else seen this ?
