"Logical Log Complete" Console Message: Necessary?

I have not done very much tuning of my OnLine 7.10 engine, but I am still getting *very* frequent "<<INFORMIX-Online>> Logical Log {number} Complete" console messages during intensive programs. Should this be happening? Isn't a log becoming complete part of normal processing, and if so, why is this message sent to the console (which I'd assumed to be used for error messages)?
