RE: all operation not work (insert delete update) / maybepermissionproblem

You are getting a -206 error as shown in your attachment.
Informix -206:
-206 The specified table <table-name> is not in the database.
The database server cannot find a table or view specified in the statement.
The table or view might have been renamed or dropped from the database.
You might also get this message if you omit the keyword "TYPE" when you are
trying to grant USAGE privileges on a user-defined type. For example, the
following GRANT statement is correct:
GRANT USAGE ON TYPE person_row_type TO usr2;
The following GRANT statement, however, generates error -206:
GRANT USAGE ON person_row_type TO usr2;
Check the names of tables and views in the statement or check for omission
of the keyword "TYPE" in a GRANT statement. If the names are spelled as you
intended and "TYPE" is not missing, check that you are using the database
you want. To find the names of all tables in the database, query the
systables table. To find the names of all views, query the sysviews table.

hello Muthana,
well in that case:
assume c:\\tmp exist.
set SQLIDEBUG=2:c\\tmp\\sqlilog
set this env var in your windows globally so
if you start a cmd line and to set |more
SQLIDEBUG is there.
Then run msaccess stuff.
Then check if there are files present in c:\\tmp called sqlilog_<something>
do your insert/update etc.
then open a cmd box
do unset SQLIDEBUG
cd c:\\tmp
sqliprint sqlilog_<something> > somefile.txt
(sqliprint comes free with the clientsdk for windowze.)
in somefile.txt you will see all the sql sent to the database including error
messages; this should tell you what is wrong.
-->> do youserlf a favour; i am not always looking into this account
youre better off sending it to the newsgroup;
someone else may give you an answer.
See you
Superboer.

If you suspect it to be a permission problem,
you could do a a quick test to grant dba to public.... YIKES...
revoke it later!!!!!!!!!!!!!
if you do an op what does onstat -g sql tell you,
it should show sql errors..
you can also enable odbc logging....
Superboer.

yep:
SQ_PREPARE

SQ_EOT
so msysconf is missing.
can you check if this is one of the tables you should have in your app.
thin ice: could be an informix table????? new in V10????????? DONO
check your old system for this table.
