DBLOAD PROBLEMS

I am being destroyed by DBLOAD bundled with the NEW ERA 2.0. I frequently load large files from other sources. If I try to load a 10 Mb file, it gives me an DBLOAD crash error. Sometimes I can chop these up into smaller bits and it works. Right now, I have a large file that I divided into over 20 segments, equal size. Some of them loaded (5000+ rows) and some of them crashed with only 25 rows. I will take the 25 rows and divide them into 2-3 tiny .txt files to load and they are fine. There is nothing syntactically incorrect with any of the rows. The old 4-GL DOS version never did this to me. Why the inconsistency? I am getting exhausted. This won't work. Thoughts? Any better way to load data?
